Neeraj Pandey is someone who knows exactly what he wants and how to judiciously use the drone, not just as wide establishing shots, but right in the middle of chase sequences and complex scenes. This project could arguably have the most number of scripted drone shots Quidich has ever seen.
Aerial shots were used right from song sequences to action scenes and it was quite interesting to see the thought and creativity the director put into how drone shots were used in this film. Click here to read more.
The film demanded some really complex drone shots, from shooting in an indoor studio in film city for 10 days, navigating through some really tight spaces to add some dynamism, to shooting in some extreme weather conditions in Kargil.
